Business chiefs spell out need to solve productivity problem
In an open letter to the new government, commissioners of the BBBC have highlighted how underlying issues such as housing, transport, health, skills, and technology must be addressed if Britain wants economic growth.
Housing built closer to workplaces, improving access to ultra-fast internet, and improving non-university adult education, are among the measures mentioned. Signatories included chief executives from British Land, Microsoft UK, NHBC, Churchill Living, NHBC, PIC, Gatwick Airport, Haleon, Vodafone and Mastercard.
